Wseeing I believe is Mosaic Virus, which is transmitted by spotted or striped cumber beetle, best to keep plants sprayed with a pesticide reg. for cucumber beetle.

Just within the last few days some of the leaves at the end of my squash vines have started to develope yellow spots. See picture. I suspect that it could be rain related? Any ideas?

You can direct the vine where ever you want, yes you can prune, but it will reduce yield. It sounds like squash vine borer, use insect dust or cover sprays with a label for squash vine borer

Ok staking to support is fine, but geting plant to support itself is important, so let the plant move some what with training time

You can stake it if you want, or if you want it to grow side ways you can do that to, its your choice

I have a Lavender Twist weeping Redbud that I planted last year. The trunk is a little bigger around than your thumb. Since it has grown leaves this year it leans way over. I am not sure if I need to stake it. If so, how is this done?
